For thousands of aspirants, this is the final opportunity to rectify critical errors in their application forms. The window will remain live only until February 11, 2026 (11:50 PM), leaving students with less than 72 hours to ensure their data is 100% accurate for their dream universities.

Important Dates for CUET 2026 Correction

The NTA has strictly defined the timeline for the correction facility. Missing this deadline means your current application data will be considered final and immutable:

• Correction Window Start: February 9, 2026.
• Correction Window End: February 11, 2026 (11:50 PM).
• Final Date for Additional Fee Payment: February 11, 2026, coincident with the window closure.

What You CANNOT Edit (The Red List)

To maintain the integrity of the registration process and prevent identity fraud, NTA has prohibited changes to several key fields. These particulars are locked once the registration fee is paid:

• Registered Mobile Number: Your primary communication channel is immutable.
• Registered Email Address: All official NTA correspondence will only go to your original email.
• Permanent and Correspondence Address: Residential location details cannot be modified during this window.
• Emergency Contact Number: These details remain fixed as per your initial submission.

What You CAN Edit (The Permitted Fields)

For most personal and academic fields, NTA allows a one-time correction. You may modify the following during the live window:

• Personal Particulars: You can change either your own Name, or your Father’s Name, or your Mother’s Name (only one of these three).
• Academic Qualifications: Errors in Class 10th and Class 12th passing years, boards, or marks can be corrected.
• Examination Details: You may add or remove **Subject/Test Paper selection** and change your University/Program preferences.
• Logistical Choices: Exam city preferences within your state and the medium of the examination can be updated.
• Visual Documents: You can re-upload your Photograph and Signature if the original upload was blurry or incorrect.
